Back in London I had the chance to stop by The Thiiird - a clothing brand founded from the legacy of the great Horiyoshi III. Meeting Dawn the creative mind behind the brand we had the chance to talk about the direction they’ve taken with clothing, and the task of bridging – not exploiting – design and fashion with the world of tattooing. With a million brands popping up these days, it’s nice to see a group that’s aiming at another direction to paint the narrative of tradition of quality, and spiritual craftsmanship that comes along with an icon of tattooing like Horiyoshi III.
